Kammererite is a rare and highly fascinating crystal with a very special energy that balances the earthly and the spiritual.

It is named after the Russian chemist August Alexander Kammerer, who made significant contributions to the development of mineralogy.

Kammererite is found in only a few places in the world, including Russia, Turkey, Norway, and India. We source most of our Kammererite from India, and they carry a deep, harmonious energy and a very beautiful, picturesque appearance, which makes them quite unique.

Kammererite is known for its ability to lift you out of heavy energies and remind you that you are more than just your physical body; you are also mind and soul—and all three must be in balance.

Origin of Kammererite

Kammererite is a relatively rare crystal, which makes it particularly sought after by collectors. It forms under specific geological conditions and therefore has a limited distribution in nature.

Kammererite is a chromium-rich variety of the mineral clinochlore, which belongs to the chlorite group. It typically forms in areas where there has been metamorphic activity, meaning where existing rocks have been transformed under high temperatures and pressure. When chromium is present, it becomes part of the mineral structure, resulting in the formation of Kammererite with its characteristic purple to pink hue.

Its formation requires a very specific combination of magnesium-rich rocks, chromium-containing minerals, and the perfect pressure and temperature conditions—this is only found in a few places in the world, which is why it is so rare.

Cleansing and charging
