ETHICALLY SUSTAINABLE CRYSTALS

At Soulful.dk, it is a big priority that all partners involved in the crystal trade are treated properly, from the time they are mined until they land at your home.

We trade crystals from all over the world, and in 2020 my husband, Mathias, joined Soulful full-time as a buyer. Since then, he has created some amazing and loving relationships with our partners around the world. From Brazil to Namibia, from Morocco to Peru, from India to Ethiopia, from Germany to China.

It is because of his work that we can be sure that our crystals are always ethically sound. This means, among other things, that the mines are inspected, that there is of course no child labor, that the community and the environment around the mining operation are not harmed. Several of our partners are located in developing countries such as Madagascar, and here in particular we have a great focus on ensuring that there are both proper sanitary conditions for the local community and that the children go to school. In addition, we have sent large orders for crafts on several occasions to create work for the women in the community.

We take great pride in sourcing our crystals and minerals as close to the source as possible, and we have daily contact with virtually all of our suppliers who are based all over the world. This contact also makes it possible for us to offer qualities that are quite unique - because Mathias, due to their special bond, is now offered the best qualities before anyone else. We are both deeply grateful for this and incredibly honored by this.

As with everything else in this business, our purchasing comes from the heart, and that means we work really hard to build good, trusting bonds between us and our suppliers. A collaboration is often many months in the making, with calls, facetime, pictures, etc. It takes a long time to build a bond of trust when it comes to morals and ethics, and that is why our crystals also take longer to arrive with long delivery times. Most of our selenite is often over 6 months or longer in the making, while many purchases from Namibia and South Africa can take 9 months to reach our warehouse from the time we first place an order.

We often have to admit that it is not possible to obtain certain crystals or minerals, as it is not possible for us to find them at the time where we consider the working conditions or the expansion process to be responsible. It is important for us to be completely sure, and we would rather not order home if we have even the slightest doubt, rather than let the doubt get the better of us.

When you buy a stone or crystal at Soulful.dk, you ensure that the entire way from when the stone was found to when it lands with you, there have been proper conditions. And then the energy just radiates even better.

ENVIRONMENTAL CONSIDERATIONS
When we ship your package then we wrap it in paper that is FSC certified, or recycle the paper or plastic that we have been sent the crystals in. We can also recycle a box that has otherwise been used a few times, and may not be a feast for the eyes. Fortunately, it is the contents that count.

We are very concerned that every little consideration counts - for the sake of all of us and the climate.
